What's your business, and who are your customers?
Sacred Path Healing is my pain-to-purpose legacy in this lifetime. I guide women, and those who identify, to discover their own unique, sacred path to healing using holistic modalities of Ayurveda, Reiki, Yoga, and Meditation. The women I help usually have chronic inflammatory issues like fatigue, anxiety or depression, autoimmunity, poor digestion, skin conditions, weight gain, and anything related to a stressful modern lifestyle. These are compassionate women who are giving from an empty cup.
Tell us about yourself
I am forever a student with an insatiable quest to learn all aspects of healing. Through my own personal struggles of spinal fusion surgery from scoliosis and a digestive autoimmune condition that was not served well by western medicine, I needed to find my own path to healing. This was sacred (and oftentimes painful) work. This deep learning process gave me the opportunity to study a variety of holistic health modalities and become a Holistic Lifestyle Coach from Yoga Healer. I blend the wisdom of Ayurveda, mindful yoga, meditation, Reiki, and Energy Healing to co-create wholeness in the body, mind, and soul.
I am passionate about Energetically aligning people to their heart's deepest desire. With my highly intuitive nature and love of Mother Nature, I help people connect to their innate capacity to clear limiting beliefs that keep them stuck in chronic dis-ease (physical pain, mental/emotional struggle, inflammatory conditions). Deep, meaningful connections with other people who are also creating a positive impact in the world motivate me every day to show up, even on the days when I don't always feel like it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment (so far) as a business owner is confidently speaking my Truth and opinions, especially in the field of holistic health and Energy healing, where results are not always "scientific." One of the ways I've been able to tap into this empowerment is by co-hosting Be The Love podcast. As a highly introverted person by nature, interviewing guests and being interviewed on other podcasts has helped me step out of the fear of being judged and criticized by others and myself.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I mainly work online out of my home, so I am continually setting better boundaries with work and family. I am the mom of 2 young girls, and I want to be a role model for them to pursue their dreams AND be present with family and friends. When they come home from school, I close my computer or only accept a very limited amount of coaching appointments in the evening. I have to continually remind myself that what I accomplished that day was ENOUGH because I am Enough. I also transition from work mode to mom mode with a quick breathing exercise to mentally shift my Energy.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get support! Both a business coach and an accountability partner in a similar field. We all need encouragement when (not if!) challenging times come.
- Be super clear on your Vision (or mission statement) and Energetically align with the feelings associated with that Vision. For example, I feel vibrant when I get to share my story of healing with people, so I feel this vibrancy expanding from my heart with open arms.
- Keep a gratitude journal. At the end of each day, write down 3 Wins for that day and 3 Wins for the next day in anticipation of the positive momentum you are creating in your business.
