What's your business, and who are your customers?
I share the benefits of exotic natural ingredients in skin care products. Women aged 33-66 live mainly in Quebec, Canada.
Tell us about yourself
I was born in Peru to a loving family that celebrates life and respects nature in all its forms. In Peru, we believe in returning to the source of nature to heal the mind, body, and soul. After moving to Canada in late 2007, I suffered from adult acne. Expensive creams and sophisticated treatments failed to provide a solution to my problem, so I relied on ancient treatments to care for my skin as my ancestors did. My passion for nature and plans grew my desire to bring my traditions of natural healing and the world of Peruvian plant pharmacology from my homeland to Canada.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To know that I am contributing to the well-being of many women so that they feel good about themselves, knowing that not only do they benefit, but they benefit others.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Stay strong in times of trial, when things don’t go as you want or have planned, and you have to make different decisions quickly.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Believing that everything is possible in life.
- Trust you and listen to the voice of your soul.
- Be clear about what you want to achieve.
