Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Roxanne Miranda, Subconscious Rewiring & Manifestation Coach, based in Trinidad, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a subconscious reprogramming and manifestation coach, working with anyone who is ready to stop wishing and waiting and start manifesting! But what makes me different from other manifestation coaches is that, although we go deep into the law of attraction and other "manifestation coach-y" things, you have me as a rewiring expert, and I work on the inner and outer principles of manifestation.

Unlike many manifestation coaches, we will not stop at the inner work. What that means to you is that you get a wise-sage-meets-kick-butt coach that gets results.
I’m also a lover of scientific evidence, and I don’t try to hide it. I like knowing my spiritual methods are backed by science. It eases the analytical mind and increases our powers to manifest.

You also may not always like what I have to tell you, but you can be sure I will always tell you the truth. The truth about what’s blocking you and how to move through it so you can manifest what you want (and I throw in a healthy dose of humor and the occasional f-bomb, which always helps!).

Tell us about yourself

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment that brought me to where I am today. I remember feeling paralyzed by fear, and on a deep soul level, I knew I was meant for something more, but I felt so stuck in a life that I thought was my only choice. I was working a job that felt super surface-level with no real meaning for me. I wanted fulfillment. I wanted purpose. But I didn’t know what that looked like yet. I remember sobbing at night, and all I kept saying to myself was, "How did my life end up like this? Why can’t I figure out what my purpose is? "Is it even possible, or did I miss my chance?"

That was rock bottom for me, and I knew I needed to make a change, or I literally wasn’t going to make it. I made a decision right then and there that I was going to transform my life. I made a commitment to use my training in meditation, yoga, the chakras, subconscious reprogramming, and the law of attraction (the list goes on because I had tried all the things), and I made a plan for myself. As my students know, I always say, "I did the f*cking thing."

That thing was doing exactly what I teach my students to do every day: using my SOUL Alignment Method. I created a vision for myself, did a lot of shadow work, rewired my subconscious, and started taking aligned actions as the vision version of myself. Before you knew it, I had scaled my online business to multiple six figures, but that’s not the best part.

The best part is that I have found my purpose, which is what I have always wanted and what I was terrified of never finding. I am now living in service, making a positive impact on the world while simultaneously expressing my unique gift. And that is what motivates me every day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is being an example of self-worth and self-growth for my students. I love that I can say that my subconscious reprogramming and manifestation method works, and there’s proof!

There’s also proof that I had to go through some trial and error in the beginning, and I love to share those stories as well because I believe we learn just as much, if not more, from our "failures" than our wins.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I love what I do so much that sometimes it feels like it takes over my identity. I think any entrepreneur can relate to this. So I am careful that my business doesn’t get too tied into my sense of self-worth.

For example, if a launch didn’t go as planned in the past, I would take it too personally. Now I just see it as an opportunity for growth and learning. That has definitely made me a better business owner and just a happier person in general!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you understand your intentions for your business. I know I talk about purpose a lot, but it’s everything. Really think about it—who are you serving and why?
  2. Not every idea is meant for business. Does it light you up in a way that you can see yourself putting energy into it for ten years? 20?
  3. Working harder doesn’t make you more successful. If working hard was what made you successful, then everyone who worked hard would be successful. But that’s not always the case.
