What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help train first responders on a proactive approach to suicide prevention for not only their fellow teammates but the communities they serve.
Tell us about yourself
I landed in the Suicide Prevention world by accident, but I LOVE it! I am able to change people's days and change how people help others which in turn makes the world a better place. It brings me joy helping people because I believe we are all humans, and there is good in everyone.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have been blessed to serve my community at a pace fitting for my passion and energy. I was honored to have received Oklahoma's Veteran of the Year award for my hard work and efforts. Every message I get from someone about how my talk, training, or post made their day Orr changed their life fills me with joy and keeps me motivated to give more.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Balance- when I am unable to work due to family health my business pauses. Finding the systems and supports to keep things going is a learning process.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find other Business owners for support and mentorship.
