What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is Energy Healing and Coaching. Over the years, I have noticed how people love to learn about energy concepts and principles. But, implementation and consistency have been difficult for many. My mission is to make Energy Work understandable, uncomplicated, and practical so you can take it into your everyday life and make it work for you.
Tell us about yourself
I am a registered nurse by trade. I have been an RN for 22 years. I started my business in Energy Healing because of the transformative effect it has had on my life. I escaped a religious cult I was raised in and went through divorce, custody issues, depression, and suicidal attempts. It wasn't until I started to learn about Energy that I healed a number of different things - including physical ailments. What motivates me now is seeing the tremendous changes in my clients. They see what is possible for them, and they learn to heal themselves.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is that over 50% of my business is referral based. That alone is a testimony to what I do.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about becoming a business owner is getting past your own limitations that you don't even know are there until they come up.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get clear on the problem you are solving with your business.
- Learn to show up even when you don't want to.
- Make sure you fit your business into your life and not the other way around.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I service clients globally and am also a content creator for Akashflix.com - a streaming service for metaphysical and spiritual content. I have my own series, "Energy Reset," and an upcoming documentary, "The Healer's Journey," which explains the story of what I went through to do what I do now.
