What's your business, and who are your customers?
Rooted Woman curates non-toxic, ethical nail polishes and treatments to promote radical self-care for women. Our polishes are small-batched, gluten-free, vegan, & non-toxic (10-Free).
Tell us about yourself
It was a deeply personal journey for me last 2015 to unapologetically hit the pause button on my professional life in pursuit of personal wellness. Work was life until my health took a turn, bringing my priorities sharply into focus. During the six-month journey, I regained my health and my purpose – to create a community of women who value self-care.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Curating and nurturing a team of women who do life and business together.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Setting boundaries and maintaining a balance between work and life.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure the timing is right. Timing really is everything.
