What's your business, and who are your customers?
RMM Consultants Matchmaking is an all-inclusive matchmaking service that caters to the luxury client and your average on-the-go person. RMM Lifestyle Consultants Matchmaking does all the work for you. We handpick your matches while providing you with the knowledge on how to execute the perfect date. Our services include one-to-one coaching for Fitness, Image, and Dating Consulting, as we provide a wide range of services to fulfill consumer needs.
Tell us about yourself
“Dating Coach Extraordinaire” is what they call me. With over eight years of experience in the dating industry, I received a high demand for matchmaking. I’ve made the full transition into matchmaking while incorporating my coaching principles. Let’s face it, many matchmaking professionals aren’t personable, and you would be lucky to speak or meet with them on a good day. My motivation stems from life itself. Being able to wake up every day healthy and finding joy in motivating people to be the best version of themselves.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is establishing a matchmaking service. The thought process of having consumers trust you in such a life-changing event (helping them find love) is challenging and rewarding.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
There are so many challenges that come with being a business owner. My personal challenge would be making sure I'm balancing out my personal life and business accordingly. As a single father, I am consistently on the go, whether it's helping my five-year-old daughter with her homework or going out for a client meet-up. Over time, I've improved on this seesaw of what you call life, and I continue to balance out my duties as an amazing father and business owner.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The top three tips (in no specific order) I would give to a person who is looking to run a business are:
- Patience: Knowing that things necessarily don't happen in our time, but they will happen at the right time.
- Consistency: Being consistent is a key aspect of life because it builds structure and discipline. At some point, something will happen that will be beneficial.
- Confidence: Confidence is key in life, as we must have the drive and motivation to succeed at anything we want to achieve. There are so many hurdles that we must go through, but being confident will help you stay focused and goal-oriented on what you want to achieve in life.
