What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a registered holistic nutritionist, menstruation coach, birth & postpartum doula. I run a digital program called Mastering Menstruation! I help women welcome healthy periods and hormones to get in the flow!
Tell us about yourself
Rising Mother began from a deep-seated need to empower other women! I suffered for years with my own hormones, menstrual cycle, and concerns around fertility. To be able to guide, teach and grow with the women I work with is truly my highest purpose.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My current biggest accomplishment as a business owner is assisting in 128 Births to date as a birth doula, over 50+ women as a holistic nutritionist, and being the proud owner of a solely female serving business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Wearing all the hats, learning with every curveball, and sometimes having to learn the hard truths from my own mistakes as an entrepreneur.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know your ideal customer inside and out, understand their pain points, what drives them and how you can best serve them.
- Constantly be learning! The world is ever-changing and expanding, be an expert in your niche!
- Self-care has so many definitions, but my personal belief is that you must pour into yourself so that you may pout into others. I cannot show up for others if I am not showing up for myself.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Just that you are loved, being an entrepreneur is a journey, not a destination.
