What's your business, and who are your customers?

I own Personal Chef Services Business! I create a customized menu, do grocery shopping, cooking, and clean at clients' homes. Basically, I help busy people's home cooking! I also help with their home parties and cooking class! My clients are families, professionals, business owners, CEOs, public figures, etc.

Tell us about yourself

I love helping people, and all I can do is cook, so I started my Personal Chef Services Business! It's very rewarding because people always appreciate the healthy, delicious food I make!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to help people, solve people's problems, and entertain people!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

My business only accepts one client a day; however, I run the business alone, so it can be overwhelming at times.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Write your vision. Everything will start from that! So take the first step now!
  2. Take lots of photos and videos and keep uploading them on social media! You never know who will be watching or who will be interested in your product/services.
  3. Always do your best! That way, repeat customers and word-of-mouth customers will always come!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I'm Japanese, an immigrant, speak broken English as my second language, and don't have much money. Even I was able to start a business, so there's no reason why you can't do it!
