Tell us about yourself

I got my start in college, documenting nights out with friends. Since 2007, I've been shooting professionally, preserving memories for families and businesses. What motivates me is serving people and capturing genuine moments.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being a business owner brings me immense joy and pride. I count myself extremely lucky to get the opportunity of doing what I love every day with my creativity in full swing - nothing beats it! Seeing others benefit from all this is simply amazing.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Running a successful photography business requires more than just taking pictures - it's also about cultivating your personal brand, managing budgets and expenses, responding to inquiries promptly, and finding time for shoots and post-production amidst the day-to-day hustle. Staying on top of all these demands can be challenging but extremely rewarding in the end!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Learning something new is an invaluable step in bettering your business and yourself.
  2. Embrace community building to get the most out of every situation, as we are all stronger when working together rather than competing against one another.
  3. Above all else, remember that life's too short for negativity. By being kind and genuine, you will attract positive experiences into your life!
