What's your business, and who are your customers?

Business Success Unlimited is a full-service marketing agency located in Conroe, Texas, offering creative & cost-effective Consulting, Lead Generation, Web Design & Digital Marketing solutions. My goal is to help others learn, grow and succeed.

My clients are small businesses looking to improve their processes and online presence. We work with businesses in a wide range of industries, including start-ups, service-based businesses, and holistic and health-related businesses. Built on the principle of honesty and integrity and building relationships that last.

Tell us about yourself

Hi, I'm Rhonda Hackney. Born and raised in Texas! 35 years ago, I began learning about computers, DOS, and Lotus 1-2-3. I worked for my father's remodeling business, managed his office, and designed his marketing ads with local advertising magazines & newspapers. I then went to technical school to learn programming and I.T. Support. In 1995 I began learning about the internet and coding websites using HTML. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked for several large companies, including Compaq & Enron, as a Data Consultant, IT Support Specialist, and Spreadsheet Developer. I've also worked in the Yellow Pages and Magazine industry in sales and graphic design.

My passion has always been to help others by sharing my positive attitude, excitement, and experience in technology and marketing. I started Business Success Unlimited to help small business owners grow their business with coaching, data management, lead generation, web design, SEO, and graphics. Over the years, I've continued to learn the latest technologies, software, and platforms and continue to help small businesses with cost-effective solutions to help them manage & grow their business. I love what I do, and It has been a privilege being a part of the process of helping business owners become more successful.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Building long-term relationships and meeting my client's needs. Learning about them and their business and providing the best solutions to meet their goals.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Time management was difficult in the beginning, but finding the right tools to track and manage clients, projects and communication have been a lifesaver to keep up with the checklists of tasks and stay on track.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't just dream, Achieve! - Don't wait another day, just write down a plan of action, set short & long-term goals and find a mentor to help you along the way.
  2. Start Networking: Find business networking groups in your area or online and start meeting as many other business owners as you can. They will soon be your biggest support group as you learn and grow your business!
  3. Stay on track and be organized! - Find the right tools for your industry to help you manage, track and organize your time, projects, and customers!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I love what I do, and I am very fortunate for the opportunity to build a business by sharing my experience and passion. I love knowing I'm making a difference for small business owners, helping them become more successful!
