What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a fertility health coach nutritionist.
Tell us about yourself
I was in the wellness business for almost 20 years. When I became pregnant after studying nutrition, I connected the dots between optimal nutrition to fertility and babymaking.
As I experienced three pregnancies, I watched in myself the results of my own recommendation and saw so many women struggling with becoming pregnant (regardless of so many books that are out there to support this process). I became super passionate about helping others to achieve the same result.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Educating pregnant women from low social and economic layers through their pregnancies to have healthy babies and pregnancies through pregnancy centers and coaching them online.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Understanding that I can’t touch everyone and that I have to focus on a very specific population is very hard for me, as I believe that my recommendation can really benefit every woman (and man) regardless of their current stage in life. Und was defining my “target market.”
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Feel a field that you can relate to and understand the pain of your clients.
- Find the main flaws of what is the mainstream advice that the population you are trying to help to our following and understand why they are following and build your business around that.
- Get ready and clear on your type of client.
