What's your business, and who are your customers?
Note-worthy Experiences Music Studio is based in Sudbury, Massachusetts, and we offer in-home and online music lessons to students of all ages and stages on twenty-five different musical instruments. Our teaching team of 55 instructors creates individualized high-quality lesson plans for each of our students to achieve their own goals. We offer many performances and social opportunities for our children and adult students throughout the year.
Tell us about yourself
Note-worthy Experiences was created fifteen years ago when I was seeking an enthusiastic and engaging piano instructor for my son. Today, I am honored to have a talented team of instructors assisting me in providing 550 lessons each week. During this journey, our children decided to create a non-profit that up-cycles used musical instruments for children in need around the globe. I absolutely love having the opportunity to bring music to so many people around the world each day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our fifteenth anniversary is a major milestone for us! Our studio family has continued to grow through several economic challenges and a global pandemic, all while my husband and I raised our children. There have been countless big accomplishments; therefore, wrapping them all into an anniversary celebration is the shortest and simplest answer.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Managing the work-family balance is always a struggle for me. Thankfully, I have a fantastic and supportive network of family and friends.
