What's your business, and who are your customers?
We help high-dollar services that don't have time to increase sales by building a remote sales team. Some of our clients include SaaS, Media production, Marketing Agencies, Coaches, and Consultants.
Tell us about yourself
When I started out, I was studying chemical engineering and dreamed of becoming a salesperson. However, I failed at first, which was a tough time for me. But I didn't let that defeat me. I persevered and eventually became a multi-million dollar sales guy. But my journey didn't stop there. I then went on to build a sales team to help create more million-dollar sales representatives. As we were launching the business, we noticed a huge problem: salespeople were mismanaged, and their productivity wasn't maximized. That's when we decided to launch Remote Sales Manager, a fractional sales leader to support business owners in their effort to scale. We believe that with the right support and management, anyone can succeed in sales.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is helping other 100 salespeople develop into rockstars. Some of those salespeople have become Sales Managers.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is staying focused and disciplined on key initiatives in the business and not getting distracted by shiny objects.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Talk to potential clients every day and focus on understanding the problem you are looking to solve.
- Be willing to make mistakes, and don't delay because of procrastination.
- Focus the business model on cash flow and give more value than what you are getting paid. Everything else will take care of itself.
