What's your business, and who are your customers?
I provide Reiki energy healing sessions, as well as Reiki training for those who wish to become healers themselves.
Tell us about yourself
I am passionate about spirituality and alternative healing modalities. I became a Reiki Master/Practitioner in 2006, and since then, I have studied more than 20 energy healing systems.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is not related to the financial rewards but the joy of seeing people improving their well-being after my energy healing sessions.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest things that come with being a business owner are the marketing of my services and the big taxes imposed on small businesses such as mine.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
You need to plan well the products or services you are going to offer, know your potential customers, and have enough start-up capital to survive the first few months when you usually can't expect to make a profit.
