A woman-owned, life-transforming & empowering brand, Reignite Candle Company repurposes glass bottles and creates beautiful, eco-friendly candle vessels that nourish the mind and soul.
Tell us about yourself
Reignite Candle Company “ignited” after several life challenges, including a difficult illness, transpired an awakening within me. It was my life-long dream to own a business, so it became my passion for transforming lives by providing inspiration & encouragement to others who are seeking that inner light. Our desire is to inspire people to be the best version of themselves while sharing our story of resilience and empowerment through unique candles.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The most notable accomplishment, in my opinion, is the transformation of the product we have today versus what we started with several years ago. The quality, performance, and appearance have improved tremendously.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The most challenging thing for me as a business owner is staying on task while wearing multiple hats. Being a business owner has been a true learning experience. Not only am I a candle maker, but also a bookkeeper, marketer, customer service & sales person, among other things. It has stretched me in ways I never expected!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Persistence is necessary, as there will be setbacks even in the best of circumstances. Consistency is a necessity in any successful business and one of the most difficult to achieve. Most of all, you must have passion for what you are doing, and this will keep you motivated during challenging times.
