What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a writer and published author. I also mentor others on writing/publishing their work. My customers are women ages 20+, from all walks of life who love a good fiction story, as well as adults with children or children in their lives who can relate to the 3 Children’s books I also wrote.
Tell us about yourself
I’ve wanted to become a writer since high school. But then life happened, and that goal became a buried treasure that happened to unlock itself in 2018. My day-to-day motivation is being able to leave a legacy for my grandchildren. As well as the constant need for literacy in underserved neighborhoods and school systems.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is seeing the excitement my books have brought to my readers.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things is making sure my product continues to serve my customers and become a household name.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I have written and published three adult fiction novels. 1 self-help book and 3 Children’s books. I also won the “Artist Promoting Success” (APS) book award for one of my Children’s books.
