What's your business, and who are your customers?
Ready Set Go Digital is a marketing agency that utilizes automation to improve leads for small businesses. We specialize in helping out small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Tell us about yourself
I've been in computer information technology for over 10 years, mainly in the large commercial market. Over five years ago, I ran into a nonagenarian (gentleman in his 90s) who was a successful entrepreneur, and he encouraged me to be my own boss. He talked about marketing online, and I was blown away by his knowledge for someone his age. This was when I started my business, first venturing into Facebook Ads for the high-ticket coaching industry and then circling back to my roots in automation software. I enjoy being able to work my own hours and have the flexibility to do other things, which increases my work-life balance in a positive way. I enjoy helping others, especially with technology.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have successfully created a business generating a healthy income for myself.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
In starting a business, getting a steady income and knowing where your next "check" will come from.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do some research, and know your market and client.
- Create a budget with a healthy backup income until you can generate a steady income from your new venture.
- Discipline, always move forward, and don't get hung up on the perfections.
