What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the CEO of Reaching While Teaching, and I have a coaching business that focuses on equipping entrepreneurs to publish impactful and profitable books by sharing their stories and expertise. I provide coaching options and resources to assist.
Tell us about yourself
My passion for people is what motivated me to start my business because I have a background in education, and I love teaching. So I decided to teach others the process of getting their books published and how to market them successfully. My family motivates me every day because I am constantly being reminded that I am making them proud, and I desire to create generational wealth for my children and my children's children.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been helping several clients have successful book launches. I remember one client in particular who was very shy and very confused about the whole process of turning her idea into a published book. She followed our strategies and saw Results!! Her confidence skyrocketed, and she made over $2000 within the first month of her pre-order campaign, and it was her first time selling anything she created. From there, we continued to apply pressure in our program. I am a firm believer in the power of books.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
It's not easy finding the right people to add to your team at times because you want to make sure they are aligned with your vision, but as you scale, it's so important to delegate tasks.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I'd tell anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today to make sure you go get a Coach!! Doing this can save you a lot of money and headaches. I remember when I became more intentional about connecting with and investing in the right coach, my success catapulted, and I saw results much quicker.
