What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, and I specialize in working with those who are in Hospice. I consult with many Hospice organizations that would like to use aromatherapy with their patients. I only use safe methods to achieve success.

Tell us about yourself

I always wanted to help others, and I got into this field because I was looking for alternative methods with fewer side effects than prescription drugs for myself, my family, and my friends.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The ability to be able to make something that would ease the pain and suffering of others.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest is being able to spread out your time and keep expenses to a minimum.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You must have the passion for what you do, or you will fail.
  2. You have to be willing to put in the time to accomplish your goals.
  3. You have to set a budget.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I also got into using Frankincense resins in my practice. Most are safer to use than essential oils with fewer complications. I wrote a book called Frankincense Resins The Journey and Beyond about each resin and its use. I have written many articles in accomplished magazines on Aromatherapy and Hospice and Aromatherapy and Frankincense. I have an online store where I sell the resins and products I make.
