What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help businesses, government entities, and nonprofits create employee well-being strategies that support mental health at work while increasing belonging, engagement, and retention.

Tell us about yourself

I started my business a few months after being laid off unexpectedly. Initially, I focused on doing Mental Health First Aid training for organizations around North Carolina. I shifted to focus on employee well-being after a client expressed an interest in implementing Mental Health First Aid as part of their employee well-being strategic plan. Knowing that I can help organizations fully support their employees as a whole person is what motivates me each day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been being recognized as a leader in employee well-being/corporate wellness in North Carolina.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Knowing that you cannot help every organization that reaches out.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Follow your passion.
  2. Do your research.
  3. Network!

Where can people find you and your business?
