Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Randy Belham, a Certified Life Coach based in Montreal, QC, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I work with my clients to help them find and fulfill their calling as entrepreneurs. By working with me, my clients gain clarity about their life's purpose, explore opportunities that align with their goals, and learn the skills needed to reach their potential.

Tell us about yourself

I've spent three decades working with entrepreneurs. I have a knack for helping successful people make even more progress toward their goals by breaking down what they're already doing and then helping them build new habits that take them to the next level.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

In terms of my personal development and self-improvement, I would say that my biggest accomplishment has been the founding of a private elementary school and a summer camp for kids.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I would say Work-Life balance. Life balance is important for your mental health, productivity and growth. Taking care of yourself is one of the best ways to take care of your business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Your long-term vision.
It is critical to know what you want. How can you get what you want if you don't know what you want? A future vision is similar to deciding what you want and don't want.
  2. Goals.
When you have a vision, you must set goals to help bring it to life. Failure to set goals is equivalent to deciding to keep things as they are.
  3. The ability to form new habits.
A slim, attractive, and healthy physique is the result of a series of effective behaviors. Furthermore, effective behaviors will assist you in maintaining a healthy bank account. Your ability to develop and maintain habits heavily influences your ability to achieve your goals.
