What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business is health, wellness, and nutrition education for K-12. Our customers are schools, private, public, charters, after-school networks, consortiums, all students K-12, and homeschoolers.
Tell us about yourself
I'm hoping to change the world by offsetting diabetes and obesity in our next generation through education. We want to teach every child in the works how easy it is to cook, eat healthily and lead a healthy lifestyle with Rainbow Chefs Academy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Developing this program and watching children, teachers, and parents enjoy and use it to achieve a healthy tomorrow. As of today, we have been in over 1600 schools with our program in California and are working hard to offer this to all of the students/schools nationwide. We also have come up with a Rainbow Chefs Tool Set, which children keep to assist them in making healthy foods for themselves.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing as a business owner is growth and the ability to scale.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Believe in yourself, work hard and always listen to your customer and their needs.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
It is my dream for all children to have a chance to lead a healthy lifestyle, and that is only possible through education and practice, which our team has worked many years to create.
