What's your business, and who are your customers?

Certified Holistic Wellness Coach is helping businesswomen solve their challenges with peri(menopause)/menopause. As a businesswoman myself and having gone through the transition, I know firsthand how this transition creates daily havoc and impacts our career. I'm uniquely positioned to help women using natural strategies and tools to rebalance their bodies and transform their well-being.

Tell us about yourself

When my body started to transition into peri(menopause), it created a lot of havoc in my life and in my career. I ended up with a short-term disability. I experienced a lot of symptoms and went to see my GYN only not to get the answer I was looking for. I was told, "It's the way it was going to be going forward and that I needed to get used to it unless I wanted medication." This sent me down several rabbit holes in finding natural solutions because HRT is not safe despite what the medical industry advertises. I'm on a mission to empower women with knowledge on what is on what is going on in the body and with natural strategies & tools I used to bring back balance to my body. Many don't know it is possible to do without medication, and it is because I recovered my health & well-being.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Creating a holistic program addressing and solving women's biggest pain point with this transition. A program that gets to the underlying cause of what is happening inside the body and creates a physical transformation. Seeing the health and physical transformation my clients go through in this program is most satisfying and fulfilling. It can't get any better than that.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Wearing all the different types of hats you have to wear to get things done until you are able to hire resources and, in some areas, not knowing how to do it. We don't know it all and need to hire the right talent to get things done. It is overwhelming, and honestly, some things remain pending until you are able to get to them.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You don't need a website to start, and definitely go with cheaper options available to get started.
  2. Associate, network, and connect with people having the same mindset and goals as you. This will help you navigate this journey with others and not alone.
  3. Always remember your WHY! Why are you doing what you are doing because your mindset can get in the way, the slow start to seeing things moving as well. Keep forging ahead a little bit every day and leveraging your WHY when you feel stuck, have doubt, fear, or feel like an imposter.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I've learned most important skills you want to learn are Sales, Marketing, and Messaging because these are the foundation of any business. Additionally, time management. It is crucial to manage your time and keep focused on tasks that will move the needle in your industry.
