What's your business, and who are your customers?
At my strategic consulting firm, we specialize in helping businesses grow and thrive by implementing proven processes, procedures, and strategies that enhance business operations. Our mission is to empower CEOs and business owners, allowing them to focus on growth and scaling while we handle the strategic aspects. Tell us about yourself
My journey began as an Army Interrogator, supporting special operations and deploying globally. Little did I know that this experience would lay the foundation for my future career in strategic consulting. Throughout my military service, I honed my skills in project management, policies and procedures, and the importance of effective communication. These skills were ingrained in me without realizing their direct relevance to the business world.
Transitioning out of the military, I ventured into the Global Aerospace industry, assuming the role of a Quality Manager. Over time, I expanded my expertise in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and process management. Concurrently, I pursued higher education, obtaining a bachelor's and master's degree in analytics while also acquiring various certifications, ranging from Lean Six Sigma to PMP, Agile, and Scrum.
During this journey, I had an epiphany. I realized that the military and business practices I had cultivated could be scaled and leveraged to help small businesses thrive. Recognizing that many entrepreneurs lacked the time or resources to acquire these specialized skills, I saw an opportunity to bridge the gap. I decided to use my extensive experience and certifications and work with companies of all sizes to provide customized strategic plans that would enable businesses to achieve their goals and dreams.
What motivates me each day is the opportunity to witness the transformation of businesses. It brings me immense satisfaction to see my clients surpass their objectives and fulfill their aspirations. By leveraging my years of experience, diverse certifications, and deep understanding of strategic management, I can provide them with the strategies, tools, and guidance needed for their success.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Throughout my journey, every business I've worked with has been an accomplishment. It all started with my first client, who believed in me and gave me an opportunity to prove myself. Witnessing a real estate developer double their revenue simply by implementing process models and procedures was truly gratifying. However, my most significant accomplishment goes beyond financial success. It lies in the freedom it has granted me and my family. Building a business that my son can inherit one day is a source of immense pride. I want him to understand that chasing and building dreams is possible if one is willing to take risks and put in the necessary work. It is the legacy I am striving to create, leaving a lasting impact on future generations, helping them build their own businesses and create their own legacies for others to aspire to.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Recognizing the need to let go is a crucial aspect of entrepreneurship. As business owners, including myself, we initially built our businesses with the aim of realizing our dreams and attaining freedom. However, it can be daunting to delegate tasks that we once handled independently. Yet, every day spent on tasks that can be entrusted to others represents lost time and misses opportunities for growth, sales, and strategic advancement. Despite assisting businesses with this very challenge on a daily basis, it remains a personal reminder that I must constantly reinforce within myself. Embracing the mindset of relinquishing control allows us to unlock the full potential of our businesses, enabling us to focus on higher-value activities that drive success. It's an ongoing journey that demands courage and self-awareness, but the rewards are invaluable, propelling us toward exponential growth and achieving the true freedom we initially set out to attain.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

However, neglecting this crucial aspect can lead to costly consequences down the line. By implementing processes and procedures early on, even if it requires updates as you grow, you can avoid unnecessary expenses and streamline operations for long-term success.
- Embrace the Power of Social Media: In today's digital age, having an active social media presence is essential for any business. I've seen great businesses without any social media presence, and it always makes me laugh because social media is free advertising, and you can reach more people than ever before. Neglecting social media means losing out on valuable attention and potential customers. Leverage the reach and influence of social media platforms to effectively promote your brand, engage with your target audience, and drive business growth.
