What's your business, and who are your customers?
Quacky Duk Coaching is an individualized and holistic health coach service that focuses on creating a healthy lifestyle through progressive habit change and accountability. Quacky Duk Coaching's ideal client is working women with PCOS.
Tell us about yourself
As a woman who struggled with PCOS and did for many years without guidance, I gained a personal understanding of the struggles women felt and faced. Through personal experience and my education in Kinesiology and coaching certification, I learned a lot of really cool techniques to help others, like myself, change their lives.
That motivates me - knowing I had the opportunity to impact and help women change their lives. That's what gets someone out of bed every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Starting! The hardest part is starting your business. And genuinely owning it. When someone asks you what you do, you are no longer stuck or blank on what to say - you directly tell them, I'm a health coach!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest part is thinking you can do it all. You can't. You won't. You need help and support and to recognize that there are things you don't have to do, despite what the bloggers say.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get clear on your goals, like crazy specific, and precise.
- Know your target audience, and be sure to get specific here too.
- Find mentors - they know more than you on many things, don't be stubborn.
