What's your business, and who are your customers?
PTTime enables personal trainers and sports nutritionists to conduct live sessions with their clients. Clients get personalized attention to stay motivated and on track with fitness goals wherever and whenever they want, and trainers can work with up to 4 clients in a single session, maximizing scheduling and income potential.
Tell us about yourself
As the Founder of PTTIME, my passion for fitness and desire to make it more accessible and convenient for everyone led me to create a mobile app that connects personal trainers and sports nutritionists with clients looking for personalized attention and motivation to achieve their fitness goals. Seeing the impact that one-on-one training had on my own fitness journey, I wanted to provide that same level of guidance and support to others, no matter where they are or what their schedule may be.
What motivates me each day to work on PTTIME is the knowledge that we are helping people live healthier, happier lives by making fitness more accessible and convenient. The positive feedback we receive from our users, and the success stories of those who have achieved their fitness goals through the app, are truly inspiring and fuel my drive to continue to innovate and improve the platform.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
For me, my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to create a platform that provides convenient and affordable access to high-quality fitness and nutrition guidance. As someone who struggled with finding time for exercise and dealing with the physical toll of desk work, being able to offer a solution that addresses those challenges is something I'm very proud of.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest challenge for me was navigating uncertainties, from changes in consumer behavior to economic downturns and pandemics. Luckily for us, the Covid-19 pandemic played a positive role as consumer behavior changed toward digital services and product buying. I believe business owners have found that staying adaptable and open to change can lead to identifying new opportunities, pivoting strategies, and ultimately emerging stronger and more resilient.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Well, my hard-learned three tips for fresh entrepreneurs would be to:
- Focus on solving a problem or meeting a need for your customers.
- Stay agile and adaptable to changes in the market and industry.
- Build a strong network of supportive and knowledgeable people around you.
