What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm certified in money, life & relationship coaching, working primarily with women looking to make up, break up, take up or shake up their relationships with themselves, their jobs, and their money.

Tell us about yourself

I am the founder of Prudence Moneypenny Coaching. I am an award-winning international money, relationship, and life coach, empowering women to take charge of their lives and earn more money. I am a member of the Professional Speaking Association, Institute of Banking, and a Qualified Financial Advisor, but coaching is less boring.

I am a certified EFT practitioner, hypnotherapist, NLP master, trauma-informed practitioner, and energy worker. Using my signature light-hearted coaching method, I work with women who are looking to take up, shake up, make up or break up with their relationships with themselves, their partners, and/or their own money stories. When I'm not coaching, drinking coffee, writing books, cleaning, or tidying, I work in education, primarily supporting adults with additional needs.

I am a proud tree hugger and sit on the volunteer board of Directors of a non-profit, native Irish tree-planting co-op, An Dura. I am a keynote speaker, multiple best-selling authors, and a mediocre cook. I love all things purple, really good coffee, and even better wifi. I do not take myself too seriously. I used to be a volunteer ambulance driver for fun. I hold a world record for promoting female entrepreneurs online and even more fun. #laptopworldrecord.

I currently live in Ireland, in a tiny house, and frequently dream of warmer climates and a bigger house. I am a regular contributor to Irish newspapers and radio. I do what I do because I did what I did - badly! I have made so many mistakes with money, myself, my parent, and my partners. No need for anyone else to repeat my trail of destruction.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Hitting the bestseller list four times - so far and counting.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being able to let go and knowing that I can have it all. I just don't have to do it all myself.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start!
  2. Let go - let go of perfection, let off limiting beliefs, let go of having to do it all yourself.
  3. Have fun! Enjoy it. There is no point otherwise.
