What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Provecta Digital Solutions. My business can unleash the power of digital marketing to help small businesses succeed online. Techniques to increase a business's online visibility, reach more customers, and increase revenue.

Tell us about yourself

I wanted to start a business that would be able to help other small businesses grow. In the last couple of years, everyone has moved online to find products or services. It motivates me that if I am able to assist in the growth of a business. Knowing that I was able to assist in the growth of a business gives me a sense of accomplishment for business owners and me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been growing my business little by little. No matter how little growth it is, just the progress being made to grow it every day gives me the belief that, in the end, every little growth will pay off.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Branding and or marketing have been the hardest things so far as a business owner. Having to put a lot of time into branding and networking my business is something that is new for me. Learning as I go and seeking help has made it more manageable.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

The first tip would be to make sure you have the commitment and the drive to succeed no matter what obstacles will come your way. Just make sure to know you are not alone and that other small business owners can help.

The Second is that growth takes time. Have to think of growth as a marathon, not a sprint. It's going to be easy, so don't take it as a negative or a con with owning a business. Look at it as a pro to creating something and saying later to yourself I created that. No one else but me.

Third would be don't run your business all by yourself and source tasks or jobs to other people. Doing everything yourself will make you realize how much time it is taking from you and will leave you burnt out. If you can outsource any tasks or jobs to anyone else, do it because you don't need to put that burden on yourself. You will be able to concentrate on other things in your business.
