Tell us about yourself
When I started the business, it was a move to what I would call "greater freedom." I saw an opportunity to do things better and to provide better marketing leads to direct marketers. Every day, I am motivated to add value and solve problems for our clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Keeping the business growing and open for the past 18 years. It is a complex and evolving industry.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being a business is excellent. I would never go back to being an employee, but when you own a business, the company owns you.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Refrain from over-researching things. Just dive in and do it.
- Be prepared to work hard the first year with little results. But after a year of hard work, the results will come.
- Learn for failure. Failure is good feedback and a good growth opportunity.
