Tell us about yourself

I got started in this because of my experience teaching as an adjunct Dale Carnegie instructor helping people in the How to Win Friends and Influence People course. I realized God had given me the gift of energy to ignite, inspire and engage people to do their very best. That propelled me to start my business some years later. My diverse background in health care, human resources, public speaking, and ministry provides me with tremendous skills to help my clients be their very best. What motivates me daily is I wake up and live my purpose and walk in my destiny. I am blessed to be able to help clients tap into more of their potential, and that gives me tremendous joy.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

To be blessed to have withstood the challenges that go with entrepreneurship, the faith required, and the resilience to bounce back when you have difficult seasons in business. The good news is when God gives you a gift, and you operate in your passion and purpose, you walk in your destiny. I am blessed to be able to do that!!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

To remain in faith when you are faced with trying times and business slowdowns.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a mastermind group of like-minded business professionals that are your greatest champions and also willing to give you critical feedback when you need it.
  2. Remember why you started and reflect on that on a regular basis.
  3. Get strong in your faith walk and know that if God gave you the vision, He would give you the provision to succeed!
