What's your business, and who are your customers?

Pro Cannabis Media is a 24-7 Live Streaming Video Distribution Network for the industry. Called the CNBC of Weed, we have seven full days of news, talk, info, and educational programming.

Tell us about yourself

This is by far the most difficult industry to work in because of the banking issues, 280E, and other injustices by the Federal Government while they continue to delay the end of cannabis prohibition. There are many other producers of content who focus on the culture; we focus on the challenges on the business side.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Twelve months of a break-even P and L in 2021-2022.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Responsible for other people's livelihood. Bootstrapping on a zero budget. Dealing with the basics like P and L, creating internal processes for the flow of a service business, getting a CPA or learning how to do QuickBooks, and filing taxes.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Don't get into the cannabis industry expecting to make millions, whether you are an ancillary or plant-touching business. Make sure you get fair legal representation. Be prepared to adapt and improvise for survival before you can even think of thriving.
