What's your business, and who are your customers?
Priority One Logistics is a corporate service provider. We provide numerous services, including office & data center relocations, corporate warehousing, and labor & installation technician staffing. Current customers include Tesla Motors, Rivian Automotive, Cisco Systems, Cal Expo, Facebook (Meta).
Tell us about yourself
I really enjoy watching my thoughts and ideas come alive. Creating a product or service and being able to see customers in high-level corporate positions use these tools is rewarding.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Priority One Logistics as a whole is my biggest accomplishment. I started this business with no money and an office desk in the corner of my dining room. We now have a 25k square foot warehouse in the center of San Francisco's Bay Area & closing out this year with over 5 million in sales.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Having to deal with different persons and personalities... You really have to learn how to not always act fast and to take a step back to look at the whole picture before taking action.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be innovative with your business. Be open to new ideas and ways to be successful. Offer as many services out of one location or business name as possible.
- Do your research, not only in the line of business you are in but everything it takes to support that business... HR, Payroll, and Workman's Compensation are big expenses that you should know and account for.
- Save Money... Everything costs, including the expenses to grow your business. Cashflow is a major hurdle when you suddenly land a new account or have a surge in business.
