What's your business, and who are your customers?
PRIMALHACKER is the name of the business. Modern life is chaotic and unhealthy. Primalhacker teaches ancestral wisdom paired with modern science to overcome modern unhealthy lifestyles. People interested in optimizing their health, recognizing the healing power of the Sun, the human mind, and Mother Earth are our fans. We teach through in-person retreats, online education, social media, and sales of products that overcome modern lifestyle.
Tell us about yourself
I spent 11 years learning biohacking and primal lifestyle. I had crushing anxiety and insomnia for my entire adult life. I searched everywhere for answers, from pharmaceutical drugs to supplements to special tech. When I found biohacking and paired it with primal techniques, I solved my own anxiety and insomnia. With 11 years of study, self experimentation and knowledge, I wanted to give back. I started an online blog to give back what I knew. Eventually, I began reviewing and recommending products to help people align to a more primal lifestyle from light, EMF, cold, and sun. I'm motivated by the massive improvement in my own health and others from using these techniques.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is when people who have learned from me come back and teach me something new. Also, publishing my first book, The Hibernation Diet, was a huge accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Juggling the time required to keep myself on the forefront, self experiment, and still write, teach and develop products.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Set a goal. What do you want?
- Mindset. Develop the mindset of an entrepreneur. Most people today have an employee mindset and are looking for someone to tell them what to do. Find your own path, find your own solutions, and be ready to grow.
- Don't run from the first failure. Failure is not optional but necessary in this world.
