What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a meal prep business that delivers all over few Moines and the surrounding areas. We also have a stand-alone downtown in local bites with a full menu and a grab-and-go cooler.
Tell us about yourself
I used to weigh 315 pounds and was looking to lose weight and gain muscle. I started prepping my own meals and thought it would be a good business model. I love cooking and feeding people, so we started a business. Our website offers 30 plus menu items with a weekly rotating menu.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Helping tons of people with their fitness goals and feeding them fresh ingredient meals.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staffing and keeping the business going with the fluctuation in food costs. We try to make all of our meals very cost-effective so that we can help all walks of life.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Don't do it….lol. It is a hard business to start and maintain.
