What's your business, and who are your customers?
Prakasa Yoga & Wellness. My customers are men and women in mid-life and beyond who wish to age with vitality and grace. They seek me out as an intuitive holistic healer when other modalities fail to help. I offer them both public and private yoga and meditation, therapeutic yoga programs, holistic health coaching, sacred sound healing, and Emotion/Body Code energy work.
Tell us about yourself
I have been involved with natural healing my entire adult life. I was a professionally trained chef turned macrobiotic/whole foods chef, a yoga lover turned yoga instructor, a person in need of healing, and now a healer to others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am proud to say that I published my first book: "The BackCare Blueprint: End Chronic Pain Without Pills, Shots or Surgery and Reclaim the Life You Love," on April 8, 2023. It is now available on Amazon. There is a companion video course readers may purchase to help them learn how to get themselves out of pain!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I serve a local community in a rural area, so getting the word out is always an ongoing process. As a solopreneur, I wear many hats - and some fit better than others!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Put your passion into action.
- Don't doubt your intuition - that is your higher soul self guiding you!
- Be yourself. Find your specialty. You cannot serve everyone who comes your way.
