What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help teens find their true north and follow it through their words and actions to create more loving, accepting, responsible and committed adult who has the power to ensure their future success and heal our world.

Tell us about yourself

I was in the catering business for 16. years. I always wanted to be a Child Psychologist, but I was undiagnosed with ADHD as a kid, and I struggled in school. My parents felt I would be better in a service business than all the school that would be required to be a Psychologist. It turns out that at 40, I was diagnosed with ADHD. My son has it as well, and my daughter struggles with anxiety. I decided I wanted to help others like I helped them and sold my business and got my coaching certification.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Pivoting from a 4 Million Dollar business to having to start over and rebuild a new one in a different field.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Learning Patience and Trusting Yourself.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be sure it connects with your Core Values.
  2. Know Your Mission and Vision and How It Sets You Apart From Your Competition.
  3. Focus on the impact you want to make and the money will come.
