Tell us about yourself

I am originally from Thailand and immigrated to Oregon to attend Oregon State University for Pharmacy School. I worked at a Pharmacy that also sold horse vaccines. When I opened my own pharmacy, I sold dog and cat vaccines. Slowly started carrying pet food, and the business grew from there. I eventually retired from the pharmacy and expanded the pet side of my business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Probably raising my two kids and running the business at the same time. Being able to grow the business and my family.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Time management, there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be willing to work all the time, look for deals, have a passion for your business.
