Lindsey, here! Founder & Creative Director of Play & Public. A design studio built entirely upon a leap of faith & a knowing that I wanted to make the world a better place. It's that trust that led me to say Buh-Bye to Agency Life! And HELLO to small business visions!
I'm here to inspire the dreamers. To help them not only believe in their purpose but lean into it. HARD. That's why you'll find yourself believing in yourself and trusting yourself to actually take the leap to create what you're meant to create at the heart of every design created & story told. I'm here to make the process less complicated and less scary. And WAY fun. Because we need more people like you, taking those leaps of faith in their dreams. If I have it my way, we'll be best friends before you know it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being a business owner. It's not always easy to believe in yourself and do the bajillion tasks on your to-do list every day.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I think you are born with genius skills, and then there are skills you are forced to learn to share your genius skills with the world. So I'd say managing the backend of the business. Mostly all of the admin work that comes along with doing the damn thing.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Believe in yourself.
