What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a business coach based in San Diego, California, who specializes in helping Financial Advisors and small business owners take their businesses to the next level.
Tell us about yourself
First and foremost, I am a husband, father of 3, and grandfather. I have been motivating and prompting positive change since 1986. I was lucky enough to have many amazing teachers who opened my eyes to the world of helping people achieve those things that are most important to them. This would alter the path of my life in more ways than I could ever imagine.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I started helping people find their voice, beliefs, courage, and ultimately the drive they needed to live their lives without regrets.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Wanting the success of your clients more than they do.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a detailed business plan.
- Know your audience.
- Be willing to try different things and make it about the client.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Finding focus, you are doing what you're doing, knowing you have a difference to make. But, day-to-day life is so overwhelming that you don't have a moment to figure things out. This is when you take the overwhelm, guilt, and fatigue that is weighing you down out of the equation. Create a safe space to identify the work that is going to make a difference in your life – and the world.
