Tell us about yourself
Moved down from Muskegon, Michigan, to Naples, Florida, in 2003. Worked at NCH Downtown for some time until I started my own Practice Management Consulting Firm in 2006. Since then, my services have expanded into Revenue Cycle Management, Credentialing, and Healthcare Consulting for all applicable service lines a provider would need to successfully run their practice.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have never had to market my business. Every client has found me by word of mouth and with good referrals from colleagues.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Work is never done, and worrying about the livelihood of my employees.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stick to your values, morals, and goals. Always do what is right.
- Educate yourself often, staying on top of the latest trends and changes.
- Surround yourself with those that know more than you.
