Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Misha Price, CEO of Physicentrix, located in Montreal, QC, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We help people in Montreal keep active and mobile, without painkillers, scary injections, or frequent visits to the doctor!

Tell us about yourself

When I was younger, I had a serious skiing accident that required surgery, resulting in a long rehabilitation period. During that time, I became familiar with therapists who helped folks like myself overcome injuries and physical impairments to get back to enjoying life and doing the activities that I love. So, naturally, it was a great opportunity to start a small healthcare business that could help others keep active and mobile!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Resilience to overcome many challenges!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Balancing your time so you can focus on the business and not in the business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. When starting a business, find an unmet need (market) and then develop a solution to solve a problem. Often, people get passionate about an idea for a product or service but don't actually know if there is a real need in the market for the product or service.
  2. Find a coach or mentor - you don't know what you don't know.
  3. Read "Business Made Simple" by Donald Miller.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

No sailor learned anything on calm seas. Mistakes allow you to learn and grow, so don't be afraid to make them!
