What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a credit restoration business, and what we do is help people take their good name back and not have to wait seven years for bad credit to fall off their credit reports. We educate our clients on how to read their credit reports and provide educational tips while we challenge all outdated, erroneous, and derogatory items with the three major credit bureaus, whether they owe the debt or not. It's all about 100% accurate reporting.
Tell us about yourself
I first got started working on my business because I got tired of applying for things and either getting denied or an extremely high-interest rate. I also knew that I wanted to buy a home eventually, and credit was one of the key factors in making that a reality.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is when my clients buy a home that they would never have thought was possible if we wouldn't cross paths.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is you have to own the good and the bad. You are the face of your business, so when things go left, it's you that has to make it right, and everyone depends on you to have the answers even when sometimes you may not.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- In the morning, before you start your day, pray over your business.
- Pray over yourself.
- If God gave you the vision, he will give you the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to start, run and grow your business. Patience is key!
