What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is an online Chinese Martial Arts school. My customers are mostly young adults and children.

Tell us about yourself

What first got me started with teaching online was during the COVID outbreak. I wanted to provide some ways that people can enjoy some fun in their lives and have a sense of achievement.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is helping many young people stay on the right path. And also helping many of them achieve great Martial Arts skills.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

As a business owner, you are responsible for everything that happens, you can't blame others as you are in charge of the whole thing, and that is a great responsibility.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Choose something you love to do and do it because you love it. That way, the money will come.
  2. know and research your market.
  3. Realize and understand that running a business requires more skills than just the thing your business specializes in.
