What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a headhunter with 20 years of experience. I hire professionals in Accounting, Tax, and HR. I have also filled ops and marketing roles—in mid-size to large organizations.

Tell us about yourself

I never felt I fit in 100% working for someone else. I started in my late 20s and was driven by money and freedom. I was hiring, and the commission was so low that I decided to go on my own. Being an independent recruiter provides much flexibility. Higher stress but better quality of life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to multitask on a daily basis.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Constant hustling... you are on at all times.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be ready to put in the time and deal with uncertainty. Also, be networking on a regular basis.
