What's your business, and who are your customers?

Aeolus Digital Inc. is a Digital Marketing Agency that offers complete digital marketing services to B2B and B2C companies. What difference do we make? 12-experience with top 500 fortune companies, promoting their businesses globally (in over 45 languages and on platforms such as Yandex, Baidu, 360, Seznam, Naver to name a few).

Tell us about yourself

Freedom. I wanted to make the most of my three young kids, family, and friends while doing what I love. The motivation comes mainly from the feedback from my clients and my kids' smiles because we managed to play 10mins in between two tasks!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Probably my ability to manage stress. The anxiety of the constant unknown while learning more, delivering more, and still working my work-life balance the way I want.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The uncertainty and the risks you need to take, and the 1,500 different hats you need to wear to be able to function as a start-up. It is also challenging to take a step back and be resilient - but it gets better when you build your confidence once you have separated yourself as a business owner and as a person. Never take anything personally.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Never take anything personally.
  2. A situation is what it is - you can see it negatively or positively. To be able to succeed, you need to be positive.
  3. It is tempting to count on other people, especially initially, but I would advise you to start slow, understand all the gears and mechanisms of your own company before you hire, or ask someone for some help.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Yes - as much of a scary adventure it can be, this journey is something I have never experienced before. The up and downs, the failures, and the victories make you feel like a rollercoaster, but I have to admit that it makes me feel worthy and alive.
