Tell us about yourself

My grandfather started Parking Company of America in 1964, and our family business has always been a big part of my life. I grew up working in the parking lots and watching my dad grow the business. My son will be one year old in November, and my goal is to leave a legacy behind that he and my family can be proud of.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

By 27 years old, I had facilitated and closed $50 million in transactions.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Work/life balance and taking the business out of family business when you go home.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Trust your instincts.
  2. Know there is always someone smarter than you, then hire them.
