Pam DeArmon Creative is a design company working primarily with female coaches and other entrepreneurs to help them plan & design online courses, coaching materials, and other digital products.
Tell us about yourself
I am a homeschooling mom of 2 quirky boys, and while I absolutely love my kids...I realized that I needed something of my own. After ten years of being a SAHM, I started my business in 2021. I have moved from blogging to design work in that time frame, and I absolutely love working with my clients. I have met so many incredible people who inspire me every single day. I woke up each day energized by the client's work and excited to meet new people. My entire world has expanded.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would have to say that I have built my business completely from scratch, having no idea how to build an online business...but step by step, I have done it. I am fiercely proud of myself.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Definitely mindset issues. Doubt and imposter syndrome are mental killers. If you don't have a network to help combat these mindset issues, I can see how easy it would be to give up.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find a business coach. Look for someone who has been in your shoes and work with them.
- Get plugged into a solid network - this can help with bartering services in the early days if you are a start-up with zero capital and then with client referrals later on.
- Get solid systems in place. If you aren't organized....you are toast.
