Oyna Natural Foods nourishes your daily life with fresh Persian food that is delicious and good for you. Our products are uncompromised in quality and freshness and unparalleled in convenience, as they're easy to prepare and easy to find.
Tell us about yourself
I was introduced to the food business after immigrating to America in 2013. It was inspiring to see so many ethnic foods here have become the staple in regular American diets, and we decided to bring a new item from Persian cuisine to our community that tastes great and is good for our consumers to nourish our daily life with fast pace American lifestyle.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We are excited about bringing this new item to the market and learning how to build our business here. Our biggest accomplishment is yet to come. I feel like every day we have been moving forward, we have distribution in the bay area in local natural stores, and now we are working to take our business to the next level beyond the bay area.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I think if you would like to become a great business owner, you have to learn so many things and try and make mistakes, and fall down and get back up and continue growing. The challenge has been different along the journey for me, but once you overcome it, then you are equipped with the skills.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Are you a doer, or would you like to become a doer in life? Make sure you understand and grasp this concept. And then try, and try again.
