What's your business, and who are your customers?
We make good-for-you personal care products available in bulk refills. Products are made with essential oils for aromatherapy. We grow the herbal extracts on our certified organic farm. Folks looking for pure aromas, natural and high-performing products enjoy our products. Our low plastic refill solutions also attract many customers looking to limit their plastic consumption.
Tell us about yourself
Our intention prior to starting ONEKA was to use a business to have a positive impact on the health of people and the environment. Hearing how people experience well-being and joy while using our products keeps us going. We are also very committed to improving the impact of our business continually.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Starting a business from scratch as a couple 15 years ago and having 2 kids along the way is by far the most satisfying and rewarding accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Having to let people go.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
